On Tuesday before break, we talked about different types of microscopes including both the SEM and TEM. While I was with my sisters yesterday, my middle sister was constantly telling the cousins to stop so she could take a picture. It reminded me of you guys and that I am going to have you find your favorite electron microscope images. All you have to do is post the website of your picture, explain what you picked and why. Also I need you to distinguish if your image is from a SEM (3-D image of surface) or TEM (2-D image of inside an object).

As we are in the middle of a blizzard warning, I couldn't help but find a cool SEM image of a snowflake for you to see for this week's blog post. I love the way that sometimes snow lands on my windowsill and I can imagine it looks just like this.
